Let’s Work Together

Community members can get help by donating to Kind Closet. We accept clothing, food, or monetary donations throughout the year.

Items can be brought to the Middle School office with attention to Kind Closet, we can be contacted via email to schedule pickup.

Interested volunteers with Clearances can schedule a time slot to help fold/organize clothing, the food pantry, and assist in packing food boxes.

Donate Food & Hygiene Items

People can also get involved by donating food pantry items to our Kind Closet. We are always accepting non-perishable food items, personal care items, hygiene related items, and feminine products. We will soon be accepting perishable food items when we receive our refrigerators and freezers.

Example food items include:

  • non perishable food: canned goods, boxed/dry goods such as rice, pasta, boxed dinners, peanut butter, canned meats and protein, cereals, oatmeal, nutrition, granola, and protein bars and protein shakes, nuts, beans and peas, pasta sauces and canned pasta meals
  • perishable food items (soon) fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy, eggs, milk, and meats
  • shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, razors, shaving cream, brushes/combs, hair care products, feminine products, deodorant, lotions, toothbrushes/toothpaste, dental floss, chapped stick, body sprays and cologne
  • cleaning supplies

Other Ways to Give

Donate Clothing

Kind Closet is always looking for new or gently used clothing, specifically for children in grades 4 through 8. Example clothing donations include:

  • New and unused socks and underwear
  • New shoes
  • Blankets
  • Hats, gloves and coats
  • Gently used clothing such as sweat pants, sweat shirts, t-shirts, shorts, leggings.

Donate Money

Gift cards and monetary donations are always accepted as well. We use those funds and gift cards to purchase specific items that our students may need or provide essentials or food that we need to our students and their families.
